Congratulations on the Award, Rainer! Too bad we didn't get a chance to talk at the conference - it was so busy, and I think you were on the phone when I saw you. Glad you are now one of the Fellows ... Best, Claudia

I subscribe to a couple of Economic Journals (peer reviewed) and the Southern Economic Journal seems to publish articles that are nipping at this issue. Nothing solid yet.

Let me know once you have found something! I wonder if there's any scientific or at least empirical stuff around.

Rainer,

Greetings. I am complimented by your invitation and readily accept.

I am a China Marketing Advisor with 20 years export development experience; speak Mandarin fairly well; and have an office in Beijing with my project partner.

My expertise focuses on strategic marketing, cultural insights and competitive intelligence; and gave a presentation on these topics at the recent SCIP conference in San Diego.

I am targeting the following industries to enter China: water purification and irrigation; value-added foods and food technologies; and higher education and executive training.

In addition, I am communicating with Chinese companies ready to enter markets in North America.

My site: www.VisionQuestIntelligence.com.

Respectfully,

I've been turning this one over and can't find a satisfactory explanation. Why don't we see more 'big data' players doing CI consulting.  It seems to me that companies like Google, with absurdly comprehensive environmental data, doing more to move…
