Valerie, I know where you are coming from on this, it is that some types like structure and others less so, similar to how different cultures work in business and the difference between start up and mature business cycle....there we go, structured again....can't operate without it.....I might give it a stab relative to the threads here and the Google Wave initiatives to see what it looks like...might be better way to get people engaged and knowing where it's all going 'loosely'

Hello Valerie....would a strategy map allow the intelcollab initiatives to be aligned relative to what it aims to achieve, or is that too ordered and structures given the geist of the intelcollab? Welcome your comments and thoughts?

Oh, they are doing CI, lots of it, but they call it other things, like Data mining e.g. They solve many of the same problems but from an engineering perspective Klaus

I've been turning this one over and can't find a satisfactory explanation. Why don't we see more 'big data' players doing CI consulting.  It seems to me that companies like Google, with absurdly comprehensive environmental data, doing more to move…

Hey Eric, Very nice, I really like your critical dissection of the author's convoluted and ultimately flawed, thought process which you laid out very articulately. Precisely right, what exactly is the difference here? The issue of direct vs indirec…
