About Me:
I own my own firm, MarketingBase, specializing in industry, company and competitive and market intelligence research. I teach distance education courses in Competitive Intelligence Research and Information Entrepreneurship at San Jose State University School of Library & Information Science. I also teach information entrepreneurship for the University of Tennessee School of Information Science and the Simmons GSLIS CE program with the following workshops fully online: How to Conduct Effective Company Research, Advanced Google and Beyond, Secret Formula for Quality Business Research

I'm the author of The Super Searchers on Wall Street and contribute to Searcher Magazine and other information industry publications. I developed a one-on-one email-based training, The Mentor Program, for business researchers in corporations and independent research professionals who are starting or wishing to expand their research businesses.

My goal is to team up with other CI specialists who require training or assistance in the development of strategic information.
