Hello
Could you please tell me if you know any book / white paper / tutorial / anything that focus and discuss the subject "competitive intelligence and national regulatory authorities"?
Thanks in advance
António Rolhas
Antonio,
Just so we're clear, what kind of "regulatory authority" are you thinking of? Do you mean performing CI on regulatory bodies to understand competitive landscapes, or something different?
You are right
Regulatory Bodies is the same of regulatory authorities. It´s a question of semantic. In my case is the Communications Market (telecommunications, radiocommunications, postal sector). The same as FCC in US, or OFCOM in England.
I wanto to know if there is anything related to competitive landscapes, case study / any investigation / any thesis.
Thanks in advance
Google it and name the country. Also contact the U.S. Embassy Commercial Office and ask for guidance about how foreigners are allowed to collect primary and secondary research.
Digimind has several job openings in the CI field and on the vendor side (sales, marketing).

Oh, they are doing CI, lots of it, but they call it other things, like Data mining e.g. They solve many of the same problems but from an engineering perspective
Klaus
I've been turning this one over and can't find a satisfactory explanation.
Why don't we see more 'big data' players doing CI consulting. It seems to me that companies like Google, with absurdly comprehensive environmental data, doing more to move…
Hey Eric,
Very nice, I really like your critical dissection of the author's convoluted and ultimately flawed, thought process which you laid out very articulately. Precisely right, what exactly is the difference here? The issue of direct vs indirec…
