Wettbewerbsstrategien heute entwickeln, um morgen erfolgreich zu sein. Wie kann sich ein Unternehmen in dynamischen Märkten behaupten und sogar Wettbewerbsvorteile aus diesem Umfeld ziehen? Die Kunst der erfolgreichen Strategieentwicklung liegt in einem kontinuierlichen Wissensaufbau sowie im „richtigen Timing“ (Geschwindigkeit und Sequenz) bei der Umsetzung der Unternehmensstrategie. Eine „optimale“ Strategie für dynamische Märkte ergibt sich aus einer Kombination von aktueller Zielerreichung und dem Aufbau von Änderungspotenzial (der Manövrierbarkeit des Unternehmens). Eine Unternehmensstrategie muss sicherstellen, dass das aktuelle Marktpotenzial ausgeschöpft wird und frühzeitig neue Produkte und Dienstleistungen generiert werden.
